ARE YOU WINGING IT? : What's your marketing style? ARE YOU WINGING IT? : What's your marketing style?

Do you "wing it" or do you have a structure you stick to and follow?

I bet "winging it" isn't a tactic in any other part of your business, until it comes to marketing.

I bet you have structure with how you deliver what you do, how to get results for your clients, selling, doing accounts (or having someone do them for you), whatever the task.

Being organised is something a lot of my female clients tell me they are not good at.

I work with 73% of women (between the ages of 34 - 57) in my business and structure, technology and clarity (on message and offer) are their biggest challenge's.

However, l am willing to make another wager.

I bet that when it comes time to get something done, you get it done.

You have these skills outside of your business, yet you don't pull them in to help you do the things you feel you're not good at.

The simple strategy around having structure is that you generate higher amounts of the 3 things you are looking for;

Awareness - people knowing you exist

Profits - money in the bank

Client Satisfaction - referrals and recommendations

Without Structure (or winging it), you're...

Less likely to reach your target audience - no one sees your brilliance, products/services or efforts.

Not making an impact with everything you do, marketing wise - leading to wasting time, money and effort! And feeling like you're never going to make it or get to your next level (client wise + financially).

Not getting the results - (as mentioned before) - awareness, profits or referrals.

To be honest , the worst part of this is people don't get to see you or know that you are amazing at what you do! That is the tragedy here!

One of the top 10 questions I am asked.

And the answer, is it depends.

When it comes to marketing are you thinking strategically, or are you winging it?

People work with me because they are looking for a number of things;
A or The Strategy
Structure they can stick to AND is easy
A sure way of attracting Clients
Clarity on who their people are and what their Message is

But really, they are asking... Am I doing the right things?

9 times out of 10 the answer is yes.

The reason why it isn't working is because it is not in order or you haven't thought about what your clients' needs are in depth.

For example...

You have something to give them, share with them and help them move from where they are to where they want to be but they still aren't buying.

Or your business isn't growing fast enough for you.

Few realise that marketing has an order and many elements to think about and combine correctly to get the result you are looking for.

Just doing the marketing, the blogs, the reels, the posts isn't going to just bring you business and new clients.

Having the clarity on the exact people you serve is the first place to start.

Knowing what your people need to hear, read, feel, see is essential.

Creating the right content, brings people towards you, while using their love language.

Being strategic, on purpose and deliberate about what you post and share on social.

Having a system to onboard clients well and making it easy for them is one of the main stumbling blocks I see.

Putting a customer journey into place, leaving "marketing breadcrumbs" so you lead them to you is the piece you are missing.

There are thousands of facets to marketing, doing it your way, for your people is where it gets uncertain.

Marketing is simple, but also complex.

JUMPING : From one thing to the next... Are you? JUMPING : From one thing to the next... Are you?

Stop leap frogging from one platform to another, from one marketing activity, strategy or idea to another.

I see this all the time...

It gets you no where!

And makes you feel like what you're doing, sharing and saying isn't working.

It's not that it's not working, you're not giving it enough time.

Successful marketing takes commitment and patience.

Ensuring what you are doing right now works by trying and testing for at least 3-4 months.

It sounds like a long time but things need to settle and be consistent for a while before you see the fruits of your labour.

Aftet that time, if something isn't right, ONLY then shoukd you change your perspective, direction or context.

If it is right, enhance it! #kaizen 

When you hop from one thing to another you never know what works, its scattered AND never at its best.

Slow down and take your time to review your current situation to make sure you are heading in the right direction, which should be towards your personal and business goals.

Poorly developed areas in your Marketing Eco-System™  can develop rapidly by worsening and/or become stagnant, which leads to worry, resentment or wanting to give up.

Those other things that are shining (the challenges, stories, reels, clubhouse, etc...) demand your attention, but there are times when you need to say, not now, in a few months once I have developed the best strategy for the business to attract clients.

Don't try to rush things that need time to grow...

You never force a plant.

The day you plant the seed is not the day you eat the fruit.

I created this card pull based on one of my favourite people in the world, @brucelee and one of his quotes that I turned into one of my life principles.

I've lived by this since I was 18 years old.

I'm up early and out, heading towards London for the Mind, Body and Spirit Festival (@mbswellbeing).

I'm going to discover new things, meet new people and try something new.

Whilst sat on the train, I started over thinking... do I need to change anything, do anything different from my plan of action?

So to quiet my mind, I decided to get my cards out so they could tell me and they answered very loudly!

Accept what is useful - Mood, Music feeds you soul, provokes action and sparks decisiveness...

Reject what is useless - Self-Talk, How you talk to yourself is connected to your deepest feelings...

Add what is specifically your own - Focus, Become selfish with your time and less distracted...

FINANCIAL EQUINOX : where the financial year ends FINANCIAL EQUINOX : where the financial year ends and the new begins

Many don't know why the 5th of April has been specifically chosen to be the end of the year, so I thought I would share it with you.

Many early cultures actually started counting the year from the spring equinox – or more specifically spring festivals that celebrated new life.

This was the case with Early Romans who had March as the first month of the year – and even now is still reflected in month names (septem is latin for seven, as in seventh month of the year, with octo, novem and decem being latin for eight, nine and ten).

Other than starting in March, the early Roman calendar also had a standard year that was 355 days long. 

This is of course less time than it takes to orbit the sun, so their calendar occasionally had to squeeze in a thirteenth month to adjust the date back in line with the solar calendar.

The Romans hadn’t done a particularly good job of this and by the time of Julius Caesar they had missed out enough months to be celebrating the longest day of the year in March! (Extract taken from Wren Sterling)

I don't know about you, but I found this fascinating!

And yes... I'm not an accountant (I am a Marketing Architect + Journey Guide), however, I wanted to bring this to your attention because, what got you here today, will not be the same thing(s) that will get you where you want to go next year.

You need to change your mindset, money relationships, marketing activities, offerings...

As they say, every level has a new devil.

So... NOW is the time for planning your marketing so that your year becomes what you want it to be.

As an empath and feeler of energy, someone who wants to help people to communicate their purpose and truth so they make the impact they are here for, putting yourself first is often the last thing on your list.

What comes up for you?

Selfishness?

You're not worth it?

Oh but you are.

If you are here to make an impact, serve those who need your help, guidance and support, they NEED you to be the best you can be.

So what do you need to do, be or have for you to be that person?

So you don't run out of energy or mental capacity.

So you don't burn out, feel exhausted and slip on customer expectations?

In a world where we strive for perfection, we also need moderation, balance and harmony within ourselves and the space we are here to hold.

What can you do today to help you be the best?

For me... food is a big thing, it needs to be fresh, nourish me and make me feel good on the inside and out.

Today I've treated myself to lunch while travelling to London for the Empire Builders Conference w/ Nick James from Expert Empires.

Look after yourself.

Because you my friend are worth it.

SOCIAL MEDIA △ How do you feel about it? Many a SOCIAL MEDIA △ How do you feel about it?

Many ask me... Can a business survive without Social Media?

The short answer is yes, however, there is work that must be done elsewhere for this to happen.

Most Spiritual Entrepreneurs feel like Social Media is a heavy burden they don’t wish to encounter, carry or undertake. It’s another job you need to add to your "To Do List(s)", along with being bookkeeper, new business development, sales team and so on.

I understand that Social Media is hard to do.

It’s constant (and feels relentless at times), needs to be consistent but different every time, as well as interesting, engaging, likable, shareable to name but a few of the outcomes we want from the efforts we are putting in.

Most I work with don't want to put themselves out in the public eye.
There are reasons for that.

You worry about several things like sharing information about yourself, your business, your prices, and more, but we know we SHOULD be doing it.

Should is a strong word. Of course, you don't have to if you'd prefer not to.

I worked with a Mindset Coach based in the Cayman's. Her specific request was no social! I know I should but I simply don't want to.

Long story short, her books were filled and we had a waiting list of people wanting to work with her. There are many ways of doing it!

However, I'd like to tell you about another lady, in Fitness, who REALLY didn't want to use social.

She now has a bigger following, feels comfortable in putting herself out there and is getting noticed (and business) by her perfect clients.

She felt she didn't have anything to say, she had a fear of it not working, felt like she didn't have the skills to do it, that she wouldn't stay consistent (because there's so much to do), no one looked at her stuff and didn't want to share anything about herself as she was worried what others would think.

For this lady, her turnover went from £3k to £11k (267%) in 1 month of working with me!

So the question is...

If you could do it in a way that feels comfortable to you, easy because you know what to say, that actually gets you noticed and business, would you do more Social?
