2025, my Year of the Snake was not a “cute spiritual theme”.
It was a year of shedding, truth‑telling and becoming someone I didn’t always recognise but deeply needed to meet.
Here are 25 things I learned from the Year of the Snake:
- Not everyone is rooting for you. And that’s okay
Some people love the older version of you because it keeps them comfortable. Your growth will trigger people who benefit from your smallness and until you know your worth, it will be a place you will remain. I chose not to.
- Clutter is a spell that keeps you stuck
Physical, digital, offer clutter, relationship clutter, it all whispers “you can’t move yet”. Clearing it is an act of courage and self‑respect. I clear my spaces at home and work, I removed things I did and went to that didn’t serve me, including people, conversations and attitudes.
- Courage doesn’t feel glamorous in the moment
My word of the year was “Courage”, and most of the time it felt like shaky hands, racing heart, and doing it anyway. I made a list of the things that sacred me at the beginning of the year and EVERY month, I ticked one off, if not a few. Let me tell you, it was a ride and one most didn’t know was happening.
- Silence is feedback
When a room goes quiet after you speak your truth, that’s data. It doesn’t mean you were wrong, it means you stopped performing and have been able to speak your truth and hold the space that comes after it, knowing that you stood for what you believe in.
- My nervous system is the real CEO
If my body didn’t feel safe, nothing moved. Not the offers, not the content, not the Money. I didn’t go for the things I wanted, I desired and would love, so regulating myself became a business strategy, not a bonus. Something that happens EVERY DAY and came in many different forms.
- Some clients/people are meant for an older version of you
And when you upgrade your identity, not all of them come with you. Last year for me was a time where I decided I wanted more and that I was going for it, because staying where I was, wasn’t an option. Releasing clients before the end of their time made space for the people who can actually meet me now AND where I want to go. This is exciting.
- Snake energy is about precision
I learned to do less, better. Fewer offers, clearer messaging, more intentional marketing, instead of constantly reinventing the wheel. I also changed somethings which sounds obvious but most people dont, they add on top of instead of removing or completely change for the fear of “it not working”. Becoming more focused on what I would love, the types of relationships and conversations I want to have become a necessity, dialling in was my key. This is knowing that your higher-self wants more!
- You can be kind and still have sharp boundaries
Kindness without boundaries is self‑abandonment. Kindness with boundaries is leadership. It shows people how to treat you, what you will tolerate and that youre not here to be a push over. For too many years I pandered to others at my own expense. Now, I discovered what is important to me because if I dont stick with my boundaries and values, they get crushed.
- Stepping into uncertainty is a muscle
The first time feels like free‑fall. The tenth time feels like, “Oh, this is the bit before the breakthrough.” I’ve been in business 20 years in Nov 2026, so the uncertainty piece is something I know and live, however, I see MANY business owners struggle with it, when it is part of the entrepreneurial and spiritual journey. They are one in the same.
- My “too much” is my magic
Every part of me I tried to tone down, be that my depth, honesty or intensity ended up being what my people were searching for. It was a breath of fresh air for them to meet someone who could hold space, without judgment, be truthful in every part of the connection and want the best for you. The way I am, is what only a few want. Ive learnt that be not fitting in or being part of the clique is what MY people are desperately searching for, so when I show up, their words are… “where have you been”
- Money responds to clarity, not chaos
When I got clear on what I was selling, to who, and why… Money started moving. Confused offers make for confused income. So, stripping things back, making my offers easier to understand and implement allowed people to move closer, quicker. January this year has been my best January for years!
- Marketing gets easier when you stop lying (to yourself)
Lying looks like… pretending you’re okay with your prices, pretending you love a niche that bores you, pretending you’re fine with being invisible when youre not. This is about lying to yourself, energy doesn’t lie and people pick up on that so when you can move based on your nature and in your own way, your marketing becomes something you enjoy, love to share and feels good.
- You can outgrow strategies you once prayed for
The systems, programs, and plans that once felt exciting can start to feel like a skin that’s too tight. It’s okay to thank them and move on. What got you here, won’t necessarily get you where you want to go. Changing what you do, your routine, can be hard and the “being okay with uncertainty” will show in your actions.
- Rest is not a reward, it’s a requirement
Snake medicine slowed me down. I created better work when I wasn’t constantly proving my productivity. As a Manifestor in Human Design (the Initiators), we dont move at the same speed as most, which is constantly. Our movement is based on urges and they are not every day at the same time, we move when we have an urge, so tapping into that has allowed me to work less, earn more and rest when I need to.
- Some bridges needed to burn
Not in a dramatic way, just in a quiet, “I don’t chase, explain or perform for you anymore” kind of way. A number of people treated me in a way I didn’t like and I needed to remove myself from their presence to never return. At first it felt like I was cutting my nose off despite my face, but then realised once the cords were cut, my energy was drained, taken or abused and that felt good.
- Your work deepens when you let yourself deepen
The more inner work I did around Money, identity and visibility, the more powerful and precise my outer work became. Since changing to an Identity Architect, Ive realised this is what my clients come to me for. To understand more about them, how they move, what makes them tick and how they can create a business that allows them to be them, when I gave that gift to myself, everything became easier.
- There’s a difference between privacy and hiding
I learned which parts of my life are sacred (kept close) and which parts are medicine (shared with my community). Not everything has to be shared with everyone. Some people think they can’t share anything, while others think everyone NEEDS to know their story, the truth is there is a balance.
- Your business can’t outgrow your self‑concept
Until I saw myself as the successful mixed woman who could hold more Money, more impact and more responsibility, the business kept looping at the same level. You know when you hit a ceiling and can’t get past it? That. Your identity is the key to your next level; you need to be able to go there and do the work on yourself.
- You don’t have to fix everything at once
Snake sheds in stages. I learned to work layer by layer, pattern by pattern, instead of trying to become a new person overnight. Incremental improvements, just like one of my marketing Oracle Cards say. That compound effect then becomes bigger over time.
- Grief is part of expansion
Saying goodbye to old identities, roles and relationships hurts, even when you know they’re complete. Grieving them made space for something truer. Being able to say goodbye to things takes time and a moment of acceptance. It’s not like a flick or a switch.
- You can be spiritual and love Money
Money became less of a monster and more of a mirror. It showed me where I still doubted my worth and where I was ready to receive. All levels create a new devil and it’s about being able to hold more.
- Your voice gets clearer the more you use it
Every post, every live and every conversation sharpened my message. Waiting to be “ready” was just another skin to shed. My voice has been a problem since I was born and something that I know is very powerful when I use it, so I’ve been using it more and more. In voice notes, content, calls, DMs, speaking, lives, virtual coffees… The more I use it, the better it becomes and my messaging. AI is great, but it’s not the holy grail as some will lead you to believe.
- The right people feel like a deep exhale
Clients, collaborators and friends where you don’t have to translate yourself. THAT is the Eco-System™ you’re allowed to build. Last years I collaborated with someone to be the Cacao Facilitator and she said “the last person she had made it feel clunky, like she didn’t know what to do, and you just did it… It was nurturing and powerful. It was easy with you“. This is the type of relationships we want, not competitive, comparative or clay. I want them to feel like a hug, always. See my success stories.
- Snake years are about honesty
I stopped pretending and hiding what I wanted, what I was tolerating, what I was done with. Radical honesty became a love language to myself because I had started crushing my potential, dreams and desires. When we speak out loud the things that we would love, like being the change in the world I want to see, planting a million trees, making a million pounds, travelling the world to speak, writing a New York Time best seller and more, it becomes something that drives me, something I can believe in and lean into.
- I’m not done shedding
The point wasn’t to become a “finished product”. The point was to learn how to shed gracefully, again and again, without making myself wrong for evolving. The “work” is never done, there is always a new iteration of it to be revealed, reflected and removed.
What tools did I use?
Through all of this, the Marketing Oracle Cards, the Magnetic Codes and my 365 Daily Cacao Ritual became my council. They helped my intuition, tapped into my truth and deepened my essence.
I used them to:
- Name the skin I was shedding in my business that week. A pricing pattern, a visibility fear or an old identity.
- Check in with my word of the year, Courage, and ask, “What does Courage look like today, in a practical way?”
- Get honest about where I was still cluttered. In my offers, content, relationships, boundaries or Money mindset.
- Confirm the decisions my body already knew were right, even when my mind wanted to cling to the old.
They didn’t give me a 10‑step plan.
They gave me truth, focus, and one clear next move when I was swimming in uncertainty.
If you’ve felt the energy of this last year too, the shedding, the truth‑telling and that quiet courage having these things in your life means you’re not just relying on willpower between moments.
2025 changed my life in many ways…
If you’re ready to keep shedding what no longer fits and grow a business that actually feels like you, you can order your own Marketing Oracle Cards and make this kind of check‑in a regular ritual.
The Year of the Snake might be closing, but the art of shedding and becoming. That gets to continue with more clarity, more courage, and more conviction.
How was your year of the snake? 2025.

I know, you are constantly seeking ways to elevate your business and achieve sustainable growth.
Sustainable so you don’t have to constantly create content and clients come to you instead of you having to find them all the time.
Growth in terms of cash in the bank, certainty of your business and reach to new audiences.
I call this, “Energetic Ascension“. It’s not just growth.
One powerful yet often overlooked approach is tapping into your masculine and feminine energies.
Whether you’re new to this concept or have heard of it before, understanding and balancing these energies can be a game-changer for your business. Especially if you’re what I call a Spiritual Entrepreneur (visit my Instagram to see exactly what I mean by this). In this blog, let’s explore how embracing and combining these energies can transform your journey (both personal and professional) and lead to the success you seek and that sits inside of you
Understanding Masculine and Feminine Energies
Before we dive deeper, it’s crucial to understand that masculine and feminine energies are not tied to gender or sexual orientation. These are universal principles found in all individuals, regardless of how they identify. Everyone possesses both energies, and the key to success lies in finding the right balance.
A different question you may be asking is… WHY, Amanda, are you speaking about this? What does it have to do with business?
Well, these energies are elements we all have AND are things I truly believe in. I’ve tapped into my own Queen and King (another term for Masculine and Feminine) and call upon those energies to help me when I’m feeling stuck or unsure of my next move. Let me explain…
Masculine Energy in Business
Masculine energy is often associated with:
- Action and decisiveness
- Goal-oriented thinking
- Logical reasoning
- Structure and stability
- Assertiveness
In the business world, masculine energy drives us to set clear objectives, make quick decisions and push through challenges with determination and focus.
Feminine Energy in Business
Feminine energy, on the other hand, embodies:
- Intuition and creativity
- Empathy and nurturing
- Adaptability and flow
- Collaboration and sharing
- Patience and trust
This energy brings a softer, more intuitive approach to business, along with innovation, team cohesion and relationships (customer, clients, team members, family, community and so on).
The Benefits of balancing Energies
When you learn to harness both masculine and feminine energies in your business, you unlock a wealth of benefits:
- Enhanced Leadership: By combining assertiveness with empathy, you become a more well-rounded and effective leader
- Improved Decision-Making: Balancing logical analysis with intuitive insights leads to more holistic and effective choices
- Increased Creativity: The interplay between structure and flow sparks innovation and unique problem-solving approaches
- Better Relationships: Blending assertiveness with nurturing qualities helps build stronger connections with clients, partners and team members
- Sustainable Growth: The balance prevents burnout by combining drive with self-care and patience
Tapping into Your Masculine and Feminine Energies
Now that you understand the difference within these energies, let me talk about how to tap into them effectively:
Embracing Masculine Energy
- Set Clear Goals: Define specific, measurable objectives for your business
- Create Structure: Implement systems and processes to streamline operations
- Practice Assertiveness: Communicate your needs and boundaries clearly
- Take Decisive Action: Make prompt decisions and follow through with confidence
Nurturing Feminine Energy
- Trust Your Intuition: Listen to your gut feelings when making decisions
- Unleash Creativity: Allow time for brainstorming and exploring new ideas
- Practice Empathy: Actively listen to your clients and team members, seeking to understand their perspectives
- Embrace Flexibility: Be open to adapting your plans as circumstances change
There are pro’s and con’s to each energy too! i.e. Being so much in your feminine you dont make decisions and change your mind all the time. Or being so much in your masculine the rigidity stops you from seeing opportunities that are different, yet rewarding.
Why it’s game-changing for Spiritual Entrepreneurs?
Balancing masculine and feminine energies are particularly transformative because they allow you to align your business with your values and not letting others cross or disrespect them. This way, you create a business model that reflects your view, based on your nature, quirks, gifts and talents, instead of a cloned business model that belongs to someone else.
The connection with your clients will be deeper and the combination of structure and intuition enables you to serve your clients on a profound level. A level where they haven’t ever felt seen or heard like it before. Where they cannot explain just how much you have helped them, because you have given them the attention they have been looking for.
You will be able to navigate challenges more easily because the balance of having drive with flow helps you overcome obstacles without losing your centre or having wobbles. Your masculine will help you bounce back faster, while your feminine feels the feels, both without shame or force to “just keep moving”.
The synergy of action and receptivity accelerates the manifestation of your business goals, getting you closer to your vision AND manifests it in a way that feels good for you.
By honouring both aspects of your nature, you maintain a sustainable pace of growth and avoid overwhelm.
Practical applications in Business
Let’s look at how this balance can be applied in various aspects of your business:
Goal Setting and Achievement: Use masculine energy to set clear, actionable goals, but allow feminine energy to guide you in staying open to opportunities and adjusting your path as needed, because we are ever evolving.
Conflict Resolution: When facing conflicts, draw on masculine energy for assertiveness and clarity, while employing feminine energy to listen empathetically and find collaborative solutions so that you can move forward without taking on the energies of others.
Marketing and Branding: Combine the masculine drive to reach targets with the feminine intuition to create an authentic, resonant message that truly connects with your audience
Team Management: Balance structured leadership (masculine) with nurturing and empowering your team members (feminine) to create a high-performing and harmonious work environment that everyone wants to work in.
The Power of Integration
Magic happens when you seamlessly integrate both energies. This integration allows you to:
- Lead with both strength and compassion
- Drive growth while nurturing relationships
- Scale your business without sacrificing well-being
- Attract the right clients, partners and team members who resonate with your balanced approach and who work with you to keep it

Energy. Life force. Drive. Spirit – What are these things?
According to ancient science, Aether is known as the 5th Element or Quintessence.
The meaning of Quintessence (taken from merriam-webster.com);
: the fifth and highest element in ancient and medieval philosophy that permeates all nature and is the substance composing the celestial bodies
: the essence of a thing in its purest and most concentrated form
: the most typical example or representative
“The energy of the mind is the essence of life.” ― Aristotle
Aether, in Greek means, pure, fresh or clear sky.
The 5th Element is also known as:
As we move through our day, we send energy into the world and we receive energy back.
Our minds, bodies, businesses and spirits are composed of energy, which vibrates out and is felt by others.
Are you in the right energy?
More importantly, is your business in the right energy?
Yes.
Your business.
I believe that your business is its own entity.
Created by you with parts of your own energy, thoughts, feelings, beliefs and fears, and because you work with/co-create with your clients, your business mixes your energy and your clients energy together, creating itself.
Be conscious of and pay attention to the energy you’re release.
Be that through your writing, video, designing images for social, speaking out loud, how you feel and most importantly through your thoughts!
What kind of vibes are you (and your business) giving off to potential clients?
How can you change the energy if you need to?
5 ways to change up, raise your vibrations and give off an energy that attracts people to you:
- Be Kind and Compassionate – not only to the people around you but to yourself. Being kind can sometimes be seen as being weak, because you have compassion, empathy, understanding and see the world and people in a different way. Being kind is a gift so are not fortunate to have. Use that gift to your advantage because people will remember you by it for the right reasons.
- Get into Nature – see the world as she really is and tap into the calmness she gives off. Taking a walk or even just sitting in your garden can change your energy within seconds. Watching the trees sway in the breeze, hearing the birds, smelling the flowers, feeling the grass in between your toes is grounding and brings you back to centre.
- Journal – about your feelings, thoughts, goals, aspirations, business, money, clients and anything you need to express. The pen is mightier than you know. Being able to express everything unapologetically is liberating. It provokes mindfulness, a new sense and understanding of self, wants and needs. A completely different perspective that helps you think and move through the blocks you may have.
- Find your Tribe – be with people who lift you, challenge you, inspire, motivate, cheer you on and celebrate you. Being with people who get you, that you can speak freely, open up to, cry or be vulnerable with is an amazing experience. They are able to see you in all your glory and want you to succeed, help you, give you ideas and a sense of purpose.
- Reconnect with what you would love – instead of worrying, doubting and second guessing. Instead of thinking about the negative, flip the grey sky and shadows into blue sky’s and sunshine. What would you love to do, to be, to have, to hold, to see, to experience. Write it all down and keep it close so that you are able to tap into it when you are feeling low.
Marketing is emotional
The energy that you bring to anything you do, will be seen, heard and felt more than you know.
Marketing is emotional!
It brings fears, doubts, ideas, creativity, thoughts, suggestions, curiosity, anger and happiness.
It brings every emotion you can imagine!
The question is, what energy are you bringing into your business today and everyday moving forward?
