  10. Tips for picking up the phone
    • What is you message - make sure you investigate yourself, why people work with you, email template, branded information and being prepared
    • Why would anyone want to meet you? - qualifications, awards you have won, tenders you’ve been placed on, work with competitors, specialist, your location
  11. When is the best time to schedule a follow-up call? 10am - 12pm and 2pm - 4pm
  12. You need 5 "No's" before you get a "Yes!"
  13. Best time to call/follow up is 48 hours after you have emailed someone and then tell them the next steps, so you know when you need to call them
  14. Are you listening correctly?
  15. Make sure you have a pen in the hand and write down the person’s name so you can use it further along in the call
  16. Call back when you say you will because a lot of companies don’t!
  17. The best light bulb moment - you should enjoy what you do and others will find your enthusiasm contagious
  18. The best way forward with telesales
