Robertson Fox
Robyn Robertson is the founder of the company Robertson Fox Coaching Ltd; an Executive Coaching and Leadership Development business running for nearly four years. Robertson Fox provides services such as Inspirational Leadership Programmes, one-to-one Executive and Individual Coaching as well as using Psychotherapy with individuals who want to understand themselves better and sustain new behaviors. Currently, all Robertson Fox services are delivered by Robyn herself.
Background
Robyn knew for some time that running her own business was what she wanted to do and felt that Coaching would be how she wanted to spend her time. Robyn had a wealth of experience in this line of work before setting up Robertson Fox. Previous work included her position as Executive Coach and Leadership Development ‘guru’ for an internationally based Executive Management Team. Robyn recognised her ability to add more value from outside the business and created Robertson Fox so she could support more business leaders than was possible if she continued working for one company.
The Relationship
Robyn came across Amanda (Koogar) at a breakfast networking meeting and was interested in Amanda’s work on social media networking such as Twitter and Facebook. Recognising Amanda had very creative ideas on how to design marketing tools and impressed with her proactive suggestions around the production of marketing materials, designs Koogar could create, Robyn decided to use Koogar, describing those marketing tools as: “Things Amanda and her company do very well“.
Already working with two separate marketing professionals, Robyn recognised an opportunity to work with Amanda on the production of her programme materials, a service not offered by the other marketing companies working with Robertson Fox. Robyn sees the communication between the two companies as very positive and on an equal basis and believes her relationship with Amanda and Koogar will go from strength to strength. Robertson Fox has more Leadership Programmes and Inspirational Business Coaching Programmes scheduled throughout 2010 and intends to work with Koogar again to receive a professional marketing service.
Past Experience
In the early days Robyn had a couple of bad experiences with marketing companies making her wary when meeting other marketing professionals. However, Amanda’s commitment to her work, the time she takes to get to know her clients and being approachable all allowed Robyn to find out exactly what Koogar can offer and Robyn is confident that Amanda can deliver those services.
What Makes Koogar Different
The work Amanda carried out helped both Robyn and Robertson Fox. Robyn said “Amanda’s work was very professional and sophisticated as well as ensuring she was still reflecting my corporate brand.” Robyn commented that her ideas were always taken on board by Amanda and the work Koogar provided was exactly what she wanted, even exceeding her expectations at times. Robyn spoke highly of the “personal service” provided by Koogar; if things were not right then Amanda had made sure she took the time to make those changes. Robyn added: “This is comforting for a client and sets Koogar apart from other companies who may not regard customer service as highly.”
